To capitalize on Blueland’s Shark Tank success, we leveraged their deal with Kevin O’Leary by creating cheeky TV spots that subverted traditional product demos. By leaning into and poking fun at the "Mr. Wonderful" persona, we introduced the brand to the public while effectively highlighting its eco-friendly efficacy and smart design.
Within seven months of airing commercials and pivoting to DTC, Blueland reached a $42 million annual run rate.
By 2022, the company achieved over $100 million in lifetime sales and reached overall profitability.
The momentum from the campaign helped propel the brand into major national retailers, including Target (over 1,800 stores) and Whole Foods, where products were reported to be selling every 10 seconds.
