Among Gen Z and younger millennials, oral contraceptives like Balcoltra have an image problem. They’re seen as heavy on hormones and difficult to access compared to other birth control methods. Balcoltra needed to let younger patients know that their pills are different. They’re lower dose, and thanks to their new telehealth option, easier than ever to access.
