In a sea of convenient language learning apps, Babbel’s goal was to stand out by authentically capturing how even the most minor interactions can make you feel like you belong.
Creative Solution
Instead of creating a TV spot focused on the fear that goes along with learning a new language and using that language in a foreign environment, we decided to focus on the positive. In this case, that came in the form of our French hero, Hugo, feeling so confident with his language learning that the small Spanish town around him had no idea he wasn’t a local.
